East Asian brush writing, as well as gestural drawings with calligraphy brushes. Newspaper images. Ordinary objects found in junk shops, hardware stores, and, sometimes, on the street. Nature's refuse picked up on morning walks.

These disparate elements and how they relate together intrigues me. My artwork, and especially the flexibility of the monoprint process, enables me to investigate that potential.
